This plant was growing as a weed until I decided to transplant it to a new site with thoughts of nurturing it. I'd like to know what it is so I can figure how to look after it! Any ideas? Thanks

Silver Surfer is right, looks a bit like Tutsan but with more branches.

Thanks for that, Ziggy. The tutsan looks very similar. i did prune mine last autumn to improve the shape and encourage growth so i guess that might explain the extra branches.

I have two young kids - do you know whether the berries are harmful to eat?

:ThankYou: A very good post indeed! With two fruit loving under-fives on the go i can't take any risks... so it's goodbye Hypericum Tutsan thingy. Gives me a good excuse to go shrub shopping as well. Result.

Thanks again guys, as a first experience on here this has been first class. Cheers.
