Its up to £111,450 now  So no one will buy it . Hopefully all items like this will get stupid bids placed on them to spoil the auction.
Its probably Seb Coe selling it , he likes to make a pound or two from the Olympics .

11K, I bet the winning bidder will be "upset" when the next one comes up for auction and goes for 99p

Maybe they should be reported and, hopefully, will be prevented from running thereby missing the boat.

Very interesting!! - both the Ebay items I highlighted above have been mysteriously removed or withdrawn.

But not to worry, I see there are still about a dozen on sale - for now at least !

Blimey it sold for £111,655, nearly as much as a ticket to the opening ceremony :)

I got the burner from a Mamod Steam engine, perforated tin with wadding underneath.

Fill it with Meths & it will burn for about 20 minutes. Looking for about £10,000. Available now, no P&P.

The suspense is killing me. I'm so intrigued. All this debate about the rights and wrongs of selling it, yet no mention of what it actually is:)
