    Wow!!!!

    Thank you very much!!

I have been so busy lately that my forum indulgence had gone by the wayside. But after an email from Ziggy I logged in and found this. I am honoured as I haven't been on for ages.

I've had an amazing day. We went to Stansted House garden show and it was wonderful. I've been for the last three years and really love it. Came home with three huge white gauras, two huge burgundy sedums, a chocolate cosmos (can never seem to overwinter them) and a fabulous new birdbath. I'll post some pics tmrw of it - it's lovely.

Tomorrow we're off to see the roses at Mottisfont Abbey and Sunday we're at Wisley. Gardener's bliss!!
Good job my three boys are all interested in gardening really :)

Many thanks for the birthday wishes. I'll stick around now I'm here - have really missed it.

Aww, great to have you back:grphg:

Mottisfont? I had to look at a failed cob wall there after the bad weather of 2000:thud:

I priced the job up for St Blaise, but I left the company shortly after so I don't know if they got the job. It was a catastropic failure, 3 months of sideways rain followed by frost & the whole thing exploded. It had been there since Napoleonic times too:sad:

Its a lovely area though, all those shallow chalk streams.

Mottisfont was beautiful. Great way to test my new camera!

It was a shame though that a lot of the roses that were out had started rotting off even as buds with all the rain.

Wisley was also fabulous, as always.

Thank you everyone. As I haven't been on for so long I'm going to post some pictures up in an album of my garden today.
