Things to make with concrete for the garden

    I have loads of cement, sand and gravel on stock, can anyone give me ideas of things I can do or make for the garden, any ideas welcome

    I saw on old episode of GW with Geoff Hamilton last year on Blighty where he made some fake rocks for a rockery by digging small irregular shallow shapes in the ground and pouring concrete in, waiting for it to set and then turning it over to reveal a rough rock type of thing. Looked good too.

    Where can I buy peat moss and perlite from?

      I actually use exhausted multi-purpose from previous year, collect the moss when out & get pearlite or vermiculite from builders merchants or B&Q..

      my grand grand dad used to design quite big grottos and had ferns and mosses growing on them .. I don't know whether he had a pump for some flowing water installed( those days..)
      he made it all look like rocks
      haven't got photos though, they are at my mum's....far far away

      There was an album on here that had some very clever concrete display features, but it looks to have gone. The forum member was called 'rully'

      I think that gardening is very sweet hobby. It can make beauty of the nature.U told that u have lots material to make garden.You can use that materials outside of the garden.Then it can show nice.
