So, somebody on a bus smokes an e-cigarette and the M6 gets shut?

Oh dear. Words can be such a minefield. I don't think there's any point in being too sensitive, however. I mean, if someone posts that he keeps his bitch in a kennel, should I take umbrage? Only if it's his wife rather than his doberman, methinks.

In any case, words are shady characters that change with the wind. I once got a double detention for sniggering in school assembly after the headmistress described the Queen's garden party as 'very gay'.

Its like the N word too Clara, seriously offensive to some but then other groups of black people can use it amongst themselves casually  I think the way that you say the word has more effect than the word itself.

Getting back to topic, I guess those 'responsible' for delaying that coach didn't want a risk a repeat of what happened in Tavistock Square in 2005.

And maybe if they were constantly attending to bombs planted around the the UK then they'd probably of had the experience to get the job done in a fraction of the time they took - but would you wish that experience on them and us?

With admirable restraint, if I may say so, I refrain from asking what an alligator was doing with an e-cigarette.

He was, lovely bloke. Didn't quite know what to make of me though, especially when he found the Turkish word for Badger in my list of handy Turkish phrases.

if everytime there is a false bomb threat that takes half a day or longer to sort, and that shuts down major networks and roads for half a day, extremists will be making several false phone calls so as to create mayhem
