Oh dear Pal I was wondering where you were... We had to bite the bullet & change last year & it seems pretty good now though.. Good to hear from you was starting to get a bit worried when I saw Tewkesbury cricket club was flooded.. It has been so relentless at times here...
I hope you are all OK & no water issues...

before you install TalkTalk, try to remove as much AOL as poss.
Just doing uninstall won't do it. You will need to look around. There are always a number of files hidden around your system, which tend to re-appear from time to time.
It's a real pain to completely clear AOL out.
      Good luck with it.

Were you paying AOL by direct debit and if so, was it through a credit card?

I was and AOL were still taking money money off me 6 months after cancelling. Even after numerous calls to them.

Thing is, with DD through a CC, you cannot cancel it. ONLY the recipient can cancel it. Moan to the bank all you want. They can`t do anything about it. I found that out the hard way. ALWAYS set up a DD through a debit card, that way you can stop the payments anytime you like.

I went over to TT and to be fair, they`re not bad.

Looking forward to you getting back on line.. A big hello to Mrs Pal to.. :autlvs:
