    hello all
Ive a red devil apple tree which was planted about a year ago. Ive noticed the apples are starting to crack with brown spots on the leaves and a dryness on one stem. Can anyone tell me what i need to do or is it the unseasonal weather.

Any fruit /veg with a skin will crack and split through irregular watering. You say the tree is a year old ,so still needs help, water in dry spells .And as its in its first year the June drop (July) will lose a lot of the fruit ,if any look scarred or damaged ,remove them.Really you would be better to remove all fruit this year and let it concentrate on getting a good root system.
