    it is about six feet tall, flower spikes are about five inches long

      It is so succesfull in my back garden that I thought I had been cultivating a weed :-)
      It was only when I took the photo to post here I realised how un weedy and how nice the actual flower head was
      I will just have to note the name and write a label out for it now

        I write a label, because I have not a chance in Hell of remembering the name, or finding this post again in the forums

        It could be a Spiraea x pseudosalicifolia (Rosaceae) Bastardus for all I care, label or not
