Can you tell what this plant is by the leaves?

    I agree with Sal, to be more specific it looks like an oil seed rape seedling. Could have escaped from a local field.

    Kind of agree with brassica. Not sure about the purple leaf stalks?
    Turnip, Swede.
    Probably from bird food if it just grew of its own accord.

    Could it be some kind of beet?
