Hello, was wondering if you lot could help me find a rose. My mum passed away a few months ago and I'd like to find a rose named after her. Don't really know where to look.
Her name was Linda but I'd be happy with any kind of variation on that. Plus her favorite colour was orange. I know it's going to be a long shot finding one with that name and colour. TBH I'd just be happy with the name.

Can any of you experts help me?

    xx

    Hallo Spitfire,
I have found a Modern Climber. It's very fragrant and is a pretty shade of blush peach.
It is called Dixieland Linda. It is available in the UK at various nurseries.
    I hope this helps,

          Hi there,

We have lots of roses which have been planted in memory of loved ones.

I think you would be better off going for a beautiful rose which will give you stunning blooms and good health, regardless of name.

I would heartily recommend David Austin Roses. Jude the Obscure is by far the most beautiful rose I have ever seen. It has orangey hues in its apricot petals. I took some photos yesterday of ours and will try and post.

            http://pinterest.com/lottiescottage/our-garden/

Here is a link to my pinterest board and this section 'our garden' is 99.9% my photos apart from the Knautia photo and maybe one other where I wanted a picture of something in our garden but ours wasn't blooming.

There are pictures of Jude the Obscure in the top row.
