If you look at this site, there's a good chance you could find an old school photograph of yourself.

I think most schools have been added to the database now.

I'm not falling for that old chestnut!

But this has been done on other boards.

How about a thread for "real" old photos from contributors' youth?

In one store I managed. I had a huge noticeboard put up in the staff canteen where employees could put up copies of photographs of themselves when they were at school. It was very popular.

Forgive me, but the matching outfits made me smile. Here are our two boys, they're five years apart but my wife dressed them the same, they liked it.
But they couldn't be more different. The eldest, neat and tidy, very studious, but practical with his hands, is a consultant engineer.
The youngest, head down into everything, (played American football for fifteen years), has such an engaging personality, he could charm the birds off the trees, runs a group of estate agency offices. He's now six foot tall, his elder brother is about six foot three.

How fortunate for me - all my school photographs are in Northern Ireland with my parents...where they shall remain!

The thing is, its all very well posting old pics, but unless we know what you look like now there seems little point.
Take Dog House Riley's comment. Everyone would know who looks like which, since they can see the person now, and guess which one is them, but with only one picture here on the forum..............

A bit like saying, here is a plant bulb, guess what flower it will be.

    Err..

This is only a bit of fun. The first post was a link to an old internet joke.

It isn't important if comparisons can't be made. Some may want to preserve their anonymity anyway.
If we start making stricter rules or criticising people for posting trivia, then people might be discouraged from posting.

    That's how message boards die.
