Yes that's right, I was working in the area in those days and our house was in walking distance of the river.

There used to be a nice little "tea rooms" type cafe just up on the left past the pedestrian bridge, we'd go there many Sunday afternoons in the summer.
We've a daughter who'd be about two at that time.

 

I know exactly which tearooms you mean Doghouse.

We used to stop of there on our way to Wales for our hols when we were kids.
