    On Gathering Conponents to Have a Go at building this hear Arbour I come Across an original Victorian Minton Floor it was in a live Auction I managed to persuade the Chap to end the Auction and my Bro is Going to Collect them Tommrow for me there is 100s of individual small tiles that make up these floors I Persannly Have Never Layd one But as me old Mother taught me if you Don't have a Go you Will Never Know
    & If All Guz Wrong just take it up and Start Again!!! :WINK1:
    These Floors fetch a Small Fortune Iv looked at loads over Time and Saw them for Sale in reclaimed yards I managed to get 3 meters of it for £120 BINGO
    The Guy said he payd £500 for it and used wot he wanted and the 3 meters iv bought was surplus to his requirements

    As Some of you know I Bought an old VW pick up I allredy had one but it was a newer model and I'm an old school boy thru & thru and wasent happy with the newer one

    I never jelld with it the Day I bought it the wheel come off it at 60 mile an hour on the M6 and Nearly killed me!!!
    I had it All repaird to include new suss penstion discs pads etc but still did not like it
    My bro is a top Mercanic and carrys all my work out on all my vichles

    My Hart yernd for an old school caddy any any one who knows Anthing about old V Dubs these fetch Telephone numbers as they say in the Trade I found one in Soham Cambridgeshire Quite a ride from me here in the black country but it Apperd to be such a good bye I payd a recovery Driver to collect it for me

    It said in the Ad it was Cat C Salvage and Required a VIC Test
    No probley I thought that is only going to cost £41
    When I went to collect it It said in the Ad it had rear end Dammage but as normal the photo showd the front of pickup and the Good side

    I expected the Tail gate to be touching the seat belt holder BUT NOTHING OF THE SORT!!!

    Quite the Oppsit a small Dent and one back light the lights am £60 but found one brand new bought in error and got it for £15 fitted it All up Ready for this VIC Test bascliey a VIC Test is a Viehcle identey Cheq But that does Drop the price and Value of the Viehcle if you come to re sell
    But I had no intention of selling it on as want it for my Garden lol and a Genrall every Day car
    I rang DVLA to book it in for this cheq test and the Guy on the phone said hey mate it's you lucky day there is No VIC Marker on this Vehicle
    Wot Duz this mean I asked?? It Does Not need a cheque
    But I bought it off the Net and they said in the Advert it needs one!! Well mate they Did not do wot you have done did they!!! Ring and find out Cus I'm telling you it is Not Regestard Wot so ever

    Can I Ask you wot you Gave for it mate? Only a round of Drinks mate cheep as chips
    Off the Record mate I will give you wot you payd plus £1000 profit
    Iv got to old Dubs my self an old camper and a beetle

    I don't want to sell it our Mon I just want it on the road ASAP

    Next I ring the insurance to change the policy over with debit card at the ready and the lady on the phone said its your lucky Day Chap Her EXAT Words We owe you £24.80 lol you Ain't kidding its bin lucky Day All day today and Ain't left my Kitchen lol

      That's an excellent result. I wonder why it was listed as category C write-off though. Unless after it was bumped, the previous owners wrongly jumped to that conclusion and didn't bother with any formalities.
