    Well, as you may or may not know, the kids have now broken up for the Summer hols, so we have had all their work come home.

    Here is a piece of our 9 year old daughters homework which she did, the aim of the homework was to create a 'word bank' with words that begin with the same letter as the animal you had chosen to write the poem about. The homework was also a class competition.

    The words in the wordbank were :-

    Stanley
    Seahorse
    Swimming
    Seagrass
    Songful
    Shy
    Spots
    Stripes
    Swims
    Sound
    Snout
    Snicks
    Surprise
    Some
    Sometimes
    See
    Swim
    So

    Here is her poem, I have literally scanned it so you can see her handiwork :-
