Been out to Tanyards Fruit Farm and picked 2 kg black cherries, 2 kg Tulameen raspberries and 2kg strawberries. We pick for 2 or 3 elderly neighbours and it is a joy to see their faces when we take them round to them. All within one hour of picking!! Guess what's for pudding tonight,

Blimey ! Overcast here all day and cool. Wind picked up this afternoon and now early evening we have a gale. Just been running around the garden with my coat on trying to get pots out of the wind. Crocosmia flattened, roses snapped, clematis blown over . . . :gaah:

I've had to water the pots this evening. I admit I spent the day lazing in the garden attempting to get a tan.

          Not up here.
At least is hasn't rained, but it's blowing a hooley.
Still got the new Swing seat installed. No effort needed. It's swinging in the breeze all by itself!
