I can offer a vintage British Army knife (1940), which is ideal as a general purpose garden knife. Members who are intersted, please PM and I can send full description and pictures and indication of price.

Hi Ziggy, thanks for your response. I checked wording and content with Marley before I listed. Of course I will make suitable enquiries to any respondent on the PMs.

As always your advice is greatly appreciated.

Good Man:dbgrtmb: Not too worried, think its only Aesculus who is under 16 on this site & we still supervise him with Secateurs in the GC practice garden.

Flipping heck, 1940 JACK KNIFE £4 plus £2 postage Thats a rip off

You can have my Pussers dirk and leather holster for that (collection only which could get expensive at the pub over the road)

Would be interested in this going with my army spade, but am so skint at the moment.

Just out of interest. Does it have a war department arrow stamped on the blade?

For his own reasons, the seller wrote
It would have been nice if, as a new member you honoured his request. If you do not know how you could / should have asked how to "pm"

I am not even going to mention that he asked 4 months ago, so may have sold it.
There is also a section in the forum aptly called "New Members Introduction" that you should say "hello" in first.
