i Know that if you kick a laptop it tends to get moody and stop working is that the same kind of thing ?

i think mine would have preferred the verbal abuse .... it never worked again after the kick i gave ... it literally took off

Long story short was I logged in to notice the backup system wasn't enabled, meaning the database was never being backed up/saved

Incase of a disaster we would have lost gc

So i had to run an emergency recache of the server which due to lingering records from old server put us on old dns

thats however been resolved now by swapping to new dns again on the server

Thanks Richard, alls well that ends well....................but it is not good for my system when I cannot get into GC. No not my PC system my own bodily system it goes into shock!!Then my Amber has to put me in recovery position.

 

We need the hamster a bit more Ziggy
