Yummy... I think theres a frost out there this morning.
That means it will soon be time to investigate the parsnips.
I took a peek at one awhile back and it was about 4" across the top.
Lets hope the rest underground is nicely sized..
yummy, sweet roast parsnips. one of the best

I've been waiting for the first frost, so this weekend I'll pull some up and fingers crossed they will be lovely & sweet. There's nothing quite like the first roasted parsnips of the season straight out the garden.

I pulled my first parsnip of the season this morning
    This one looked promishing

Out the ground revealed and nicely rounded with not to many legs on it, which was a problem for me last year.

Not a world beater by a long way but this will go just perfect with the steak pie tomorrow.
