We like to share our triumphs and failures,it`s all about coping with the conditions nature throws at you,as best you can ,if it`s new to you someone else may have done it before ,what worked what didn`t ,it all adds up to the lovely rich mix which is

Hi Penny and Pam - I am just heading out to garden - I don't think I'm a very organised gardner, I just plant and grow. I hope to try and get another bed prepared for more veg planting shortly. My blueberries have been delicious this year I have one blue crop that is all gone now, but I am still harvesting from one of the semi everygreen's not quite sure of its name as I got in the garden centre reduced with no ticket, here is one of my bluberry pictures taken in May:

      BluberryMay12.jpg yummy yummy yummy

Just checking to see what other pictures I have....

CurlyKaleMar12.jpg I was thrilled with kale I planted last year, this plant came right through the winter, I was still picking from it in April. Its gone to seed now but I am planting more this year, the purple and green variety, I hope they will survive against the slugs and snails.

LOL - its very good for you Jenny :) It makes a nice change from spinach and swiss chard, the other two reliable crops I grow, just so I have some greens to pick from the garden all year round. I do peas in the summer but runner beans have not been a success past two years for me. Peas are struggling a bit this year too. Shame
