You're right, hard landscaping does make a big difference and takes less maintenance afterwards. Looks like you have a lovely riverside spot there. :)

Kazzie. Love your dog. my favorite breed.

How do I cope with a larger gardenssssssss ....My many gardenssssss several cover a range of 2 1/2 acres. And I work outside the home 50 hours weekly. It is a matter of knowing all will never look perfect until I retire. And we have done the huge earth stuff your doing now already. You may view it on my thread called redstar gardens.

Sorry about the late reply... that is one very huge space you have there, along with some lovely plants which gave me some ideas :). As for my German Shepherd... she's going through that awful teenage stage and can be a real rascal.

Wow, I've just seen this and I love those arches. Hope you are managing to enjoy the garden and can see some progress

Kazzie, I remember the teenage years with my guys, the "testing". Its a matter of keeping them on the straight line. Smart dogs they are.

Many thanks for the kind comments... it took some courage to make the changes, but I'm pleased I did it.

Redstar... she's my first dog... nothing could've prepared me :ouch1:. I'll pop a couple of videos of the tinker in the Pets area.
