    Grey matter is misbehaving ..
    I was asked this morning..
"What do you want on your toast?"
    My reply was..
    "MARMALITE"
What I meant was One Marmite and one Marmalade.
    Go figure...

When I was a teenager, my dad went out boozing once with one of his mates. It was very rare for him to drink so he wasn't used to it. He came home drunk with a donner kebab in his hand, which he shared with me. As he was sharing it asking if I want a bit of pita bread, some meat etc he got to the cucumber and asked 'cubab?'. Since that day, I still jokingly refer to cucumber as cubab, so much so that it has been known for the wife or I to inadvertently ask shop assistants for cubab, which usually invites some funny looks.
