Hi I am ashamed to admitted I am an a completely ignorant gardener. And decided to start up a blog to try and remedy the problem.
If you could please take a look at

    http://ignorantgardener.wordpress.com/

And post some advice I would be eternally grateful. I'm not trying to sell anything or promote something all I'm after is basic advice and constructive criticism.
    Many thanks

We've got a few great fonts around here, but most of them are being used as birdbaths:biggrin:

      Welcome to Gardeners Corner Ashleigh1972.

You will probably find that very few of us will post directly to your blog. The members here are a friendly bunch and prefer the interaction on the open forums. It would probably be best for you to do the same. :)

Hi Ashleigh, welcome to Gardeners Corner.:snork: I reckon Sheal's advice is right we use GC to banter and exchange info so we don't really go to blogs:dunno::snork:

Welcome to the forums, Ashley1972 :sign0016:

"Basic advice" ... the easiest, and fastest, way to get that is to utilise the "search" function on here.
"Constructive criticism" can be achieved by posting specific queries to specific problems; although, to be honest, I think "helpful, constructive advice" is far more the flavour of the people on here :heehee:

Looking forward to getting to know you from your posts :ccheers:
And others, are being utilised, to add colour, texture and interest to the information, and advice posted. :ccheers:

Ashleigh, welcome! You might find it useful to keep your blog for yourself for future reference. You can use the posts to remind yourself what works, what doesn't, when things bloom, any progress you make during the year, etc. Post plenty of pics there too. That way you don't forget about something you like or don't like. An example would be if you had some tulips you really liked in spring and wanted to plant more you can go back and check your blog and remember to get some more. That was my intention when I started mine but I don't have access to my computer to load posts at the moment so haven't posted for quite a while. I plan on starting It back up again when my computer is sorted. My GC posts are all from my phone.

Hi again, thanks for the advice I think I will use the blog for my own reference and use the forum more often. Made a couple of posts and got some good advice already. Love how friendly everyone has been.
Got my rest days coming up so going to get some work done and will let you know how it goes. Going to get some quotes for getting rid of the tree as it open up the garden and give me a bit space to plant things.
