Totally GREEN pardon the pun

Hi All,

I am totally new to gardening, the last bit of gardening I did was back in primary school.

I Am Yorkshire, pleased to meet you all.

what brings me here?

My girlfriend has just bought a new house and I have been given the great honour of maintaining the grounds, its going to be quite a challenge, the property had belonged to a keen gardener by the looks of it but it has been left to the wilds for what looks like a number of years.

there are numerous different large trees and bushes and a number of over grown plant beds, the garden is to put it mildly a bit of a challenge.

however I am sure that by doing my research on the internet, reading some books and posting on here mixed with some hands on experience I will eventually take control of this monster and have something I am truly proud of

I look forward to making a lot of new gardening buddies on here.

I look forward to getting to know you. Watch and wait, most gardens need to a year to show what they are, if you have a digital camera perfect, if you don't, borrow one so you can see what is what. Forgetting is a well kept gardening secret.
