It has really strong vibrancy about it's colour Woo, all my reds have gone for the year which is a great shame, but the Handel is still pumping out the odd few gorgeous-smelling beauties so not that bad really.

I have come to expect no less than this standard of rose ( and photography) from you.

It is doing absolutely fantastic Woo, and will be flattered to be asked after lol, it is top notch for disease resistance-it is the cleanest rose I have ever had for that, not a spot of anything on it and it is extremely vigorous. It had a massive amount of flowers on this year and as roses sleep, creep then leap I expect enormous amounts next year. The scent is just gorgeous, it also seems to be the chosen hiding place for a load of ladybirds, they are all cozying up in the crevices of the old brickwork it is growing across. It is a crying shame it only flowers once.

The Geoff Hamilton Rose really impressed me this year with the amount of flowers, but they don't last long enough and suffer from the rain, so I suppose it will be at it's best in the better summers we can get occasionally.

    Hope you are well.
