I'll take a couple of pics tomorrow when i get the chance, really can't understand why either. I'm a novice gardener and have looked up how to care for and water etc so really don't know what's gone wrong. Would be grateful if you could solve this one for me. :ThankYou:

Sorry about that Woo, Twas my son that took them, should have said for him to take them at different angles. Let me know if you would like me to take a couple more or whether you'd like to carry on with your neck exercises and letting all your blood rush to your head...Catwoman

Good evening Catwoman no worries good job you got a sense of humour my friend:)
Forgive me asking but have you the same drainage in each pot,and try raising them off the ground a little, and change their positions over,I cannot see anything seriously wrong with the rose that is struggling a little,as the foliage looks healthy from the photos you have kindly posted for me,,the compost does look a little to wet,the only thing I can respectfully suggest is re-potting your rose as a last resort, that is only if you agree my friend:) I am sorry that I can,t give you a single answer, but sometimes there is,nt one ,please keep me updated as I am very interested in how our little rose get's on,I have many Rosarian Nursery friend's all over the country and I will continue to seek out an answer for you but it might take some time, but I never give up my friend:)If I can be of any more help please just ask:)

          Hi Catwoman :)

I have some patio roses which are the same variety in containers right next to each other and they don't all 'perform' at the same time or to the same standard. I'm not worried at all as long as the foliage looks healthy, which yours does :blue thumb:

The second plant looks to be either slightly more mature or just a bigger plant than the first so it could be that it's got more stems with blooms on.

Good evening Woo...I have the same drainage in each pot, will also try raising them up a little to see if that helps. I water them fairly liberally twice a day whether it has been raining or not...could this be the problem? Catwoman :wallbang:

Hi there...I bought both roses exactly the same time and they were both the same size. I will try changing its position and water it a bit less and see if that helps. Will keep you updated...Catwoman :noidea:

Good evening Catwoman yes it could very well be that, try letting them dry out a little bit and we will see what the results are:dbgrtmb::)

I have lots of roses in planters and I let the compost on top of the container dry out slightly before watering but I personally don't water more than once every couple of days even in very dry weather (give them a good soaking in the evening) and if we've had a decent downpour I don't give them any extra.

              HTH :)
