Really? Then your camera is exceptionally good to get those shots from behind a window; top job!!

Thanks Mum.The Sparrow hawk was about 40ft away so very pleased with the quality of the shots especially through a window. I am still learning since the camera has lots of settings. You don't often see a bird of prey feeding in your garden.

On the contrary, Cherub: *you* are in the most perfect position to take wildlife photos!

Think about it (from a wildlife perspective): they are naturally (and rightly!) skittish creatures and will shy away from noise and movement; *you* on the other hand, move slowly, make less noise, less haste and need (presumably) regular stops to enjoy the environment/take a rest. Perfect!!! You and the wildlife have a complimentary approach to the world.

Sit, stop a while, inhale the nature and wildlife around you; they will come ... and your camera will be ready :dbgrtmb:

I think the combination of your limited walking distance, coupled with your surroundings and interest in both wildlife and photography, offer you the most ideal scenario to make money from your photos, while combining your personal needs.

Do submit your photos to competitions, I have a feeling you will, at some point, reap the rewards.

Equally, do not see your limited walking ability as a hinderance (unless your ambition is to run a 1 minute mile :what: ) but, rather as the attribute most necessary to actually capture wildlife in its natural environment.

Do keep focused; do keep patient because from where I am sitting, you are doing a fab job! Keep it up, Cherub.

The Dragon fly is a Common Darter, we had our first Sparrowhawk in the garden last week but not seen it since.
                  Enjoying you pics.:blue thumb:
