    I think it's a weigela. Does it have pink flowers in May/June?

    BTW you may have 2 separate things there, I'm talking about the lower one. The upper bit is similar but might be a different plant.

    Lower branches I would say are Weigela and belongs to the plant to the right of the upper leaves which look to me as if they might be forsythia but will take a rain check on that.

    This is the first time it's grown I've moved in to my new hous about 2 years I didn't see it last year, I will take more pictures and post them up.
