    I just thought I'd share this with you all:)

    For the last few weeks, two toes on one foot have been really hurting. I don't know why, I don't recall bashing them or anything. I'd get a tingle sensation most of the time, and when cold I'd get a very sharp shooting pain if I walked bare foot round the house.

    Early tonight, looking at my feet, I notice the two painful toes were pointing at a slightly unusual angle. So I bent them to where I thought they should be, and there was a rather significant click or clunk noise and lo and behold, no more pain:gnthb:

    I reckon somehow I must have dislocated them and possibly trapped a nerve, and tonight, with a rather satisfying crunch/click/clunk, put them back where they should be:)

    Result:gnthb::hehe:

    Ouch Clueless, just glad you sorted it out. And Ros,that is one special guy, my hubby would have rang me a dozen times before even attempting it, with probably a running narrative as he popped it back in.

    hi clueless,noted your post and i have to pass on a problem i have had for about 6 to 8 months. my right ,big toe, was starting to close into the next toe. eventually it was almost sitting on top of the next toe.i purchased (toe spacers) from betterware.these were made of a latex material,which you slotted between your toes (to stop toe overlap????) this is what the advert said. i tried this for about 2 to 3 weeks,the( latex thingimmy) kept slipping under my foot ,i wonder what the people were thinking, as i was sitting on a park bench removing my shoes and socks to get this bit of latex from under my foot!!!. i tried 2 or three other ideas to no avail. one day i had a think to myself,when did this start, what was i doing ,what footwear was i wearing, then the penny dropped. i was never one for wearing trainers i always wore hard shoes . in summer i wore open sandals or a good light summer shoe .so the trainers were put aside and i started to wear the shoes i had wearing prior to trainers. since the change of footwear, my feet are great .toes are settling back ,no sharp pains up the foot, no walking with a semi limp . anyone want 2 pair of trainers? (post paid ).

    music :wink::cool:

    That's interesting Music, because come to think of it my toes went wrong round about the time I bought myself some new slip on shoes for work. They are nice comfy shoes, but you never know, all shoes have their different quirks when it comes to breaking them in, perhaps my latest ones did something to my toes.

    Anyway, several days now since I clunked them back into position, and not a hint of anything wrong. Who needs doctors eh? Just clunk things back to where they should be and job done:gnthb:

    hi clueless. its something i dont wear is slip on shoes.
    reason being i find after you have worn them for a time they spread and your shoe
    feels like its a bit big for you .to overcome the shoe slipping i tended to scrunch my feet to stop my heel slipping out the shoe. this gave me sore feet,toes, and foot strain. as you say all shoes have different quirks!. happy feet are healthy feet:thumb::D

    Ouch! You're brave. Glad it's sorted now. It's true about shoes - listen to your mum (specially girls) when she tells you 'they'll ruin your feet, why don't you get some Clarks' lol.

    cheers
