This is the first time I've ever had a carrot bolt, so I'm watching it with interest, does anyone know at what point its ok to cut it off and put it in a paper bag to dry out?

They will go brown & dry looking when they are ripe.

Thanks zigg miester, But will they go brown in this rain with very little sun :D I'm wondering if I can dry the whole thing out on the window sill? that worked for green radish pods last year, I'll leave them a while more tho, just to be safe lol

I'd rather leave them on the plant, its wild/native siblings don't neither mind the rainy weather
