My view is that if a teacher is subject to flirtaceous behaviour from a student the teacher shoud nicely dismiss this behaviour, in a way not to hurt the pupil but making absolutely clear that no friendship is possible behind the boundaries of the two rules.

As if the teacher himself made advances, then of course he should not be there in the first place.

A safe school must be a guarantee that every parents have right to have.

"We will all be so pleased to have her home". Not sure that's what she is saying. Wonder who'll offer the most for her "story?" Bet mum's on the case already,

It reminds me of a party game:-
It's a book and a film and TV

      Guess the game?

Guess how much they'll get for each?

Any nice houses in the country going dear, Dear?

If she'd been from Rochdale, I doubt they would have started looking for her yet.

We all knew it would end in tears but tacky one's are not nice. I'm uneasy over many aspects of this event. I hope it quickly loses media appeal but I doubt it,

If the news is right, there's another reason why this chap shouldn't be a teacher quite apart from running away with a kid. That reason is that he is simply not bright enough to teach.

They got to france. From their, Europe and the world is just sat there. They must have known that they would be being hunted yet what did they do? They stayed in france. He even applied for a job there.

If I was a fugitive, once in france, I'd be straight out at the earliest opportunity with the goal being to get right of the EU altogether.

I must admit i'm suprised they didn't go further afield, I was thinking they would have been straight on the Orient Express, heading for the nearest country where poligamy & child brides were the norm.

After the news broke and it was broadcast on R2 1pm news. Steve Wright played Young Turks - Rod Stewart and straight after Moonlighting - Leo Sayer straight after!
If you know the Lyrics it was quite a 'thing' for the BBC to do.

I was very surprised that they were still in France. We did a bit of a car road trip this summer and after catching the Eurotunnel train in the late morning, we were sitting in a bar in Aachen, Germany by late afternoon, having crossed four countries in a few hours.

          Maybe he only speaks French?
