    Hello Folks,

I didn't know whether to post these pictures into this section or the Disabled one, as one of my "containers" is a pretty big raised bed to avoid my having to stoop...

This is the view from just inside my back gate. What isn't obvious is that the path to the back door is in fact a ramp. The hanging baskets are looking a little battered. The heavy rain has left its mark. I have some new brackets with which to re-hang these a few inches further away so that the baskets can rotate properly.

The baskets seen from the N.West.

The whole area, looking toward the lounge. The basket on top of the bin is growing 10day salad. There's Sweet Peas growing within, rather than up, the first teepee.

The raised bed as seen from inside the back gate. I'm a bit surprised about how much space the nasturtiums are taking. I'd hoped that they'd trail over the sides much more. There's a whole selection of herbs at this end. Nothing like picking fresh herbs!

The lounge window box with its battered geraniums. These are also missing the warm weather, despite being in a very cosy sun-trap. Still some more work to do in this corner.

The raised bed more or less as I see it from my lounge... There's some garlic ready to be harvested, but will wait for a couple of consecutive dry days to happen first - fingers crossed.

A closer view of the raised bed. Some French Tarragon and 2 rows of radish. Neither the French Beans or the climbing beans are doing well; nothing like enough warm weather :spinning:

    Enjoy...

    Regards,
    Steve

I think you have a good thing going on here. Bountiful baskets make for beautiful displays! Reminds me of this one that I shot in Italy:

Many thanks for the kind comments peeps. The hanging baskets have now been re-hung on their bespoke hooks and are free to do their thing. I harvested the Old English Garlic yesterday, gotta say that I'm a bit disappointed with their size, though they do smell lovely! The weather is playing merry hell with the beans, I'm not sure that there will be one decent picking this season... :gaah:

I'll post more pics if the sun pops out later.

                  Regards,
                  Steve

                    Hello Folks,

What a huge difference a couple or three days of sunshine makes..!

The baskets look well on their purpose hooks, and although not visible, there'll soon be a picking of climbing french beans - yum!

My garlic was small as well this year. It does well making garlic bread and cooking with.
