don't pay licence and have 3 computers in the house
have no telly, though, and don't watch live TV
they never made any problems here, even when they came round the house,

maybe you should grow some long hair,Zig and pluck your eyebrows :snork:

Had a reply, unfortunately lost the email completely, don't know where it went, not in my old/deleted box:what:

Said something like Ok, but we reserve the right to assess your property remotely.

They can do that if they want, still won't make me buy another telly.

Just had a letter saying unless I get in touch with them before 29th jan, they will send someone round.

Shall I send them the bill for £1000 with the response or wait till they come round and charge them for that too?

Although I agree completely with your annoyance you would not get away with charging them £1,000. All charges have to be 'reasonable' and in most of these cases any charge would be considered 'unreasonable' unless they begin harrassing you..

I suggest that you reply to them saying that you have already told them you do not have a TV or watch live TV on the internet. They are welcome to come and park their TV detector van in the road but they do not have permission to enter your house. If anyone calls they will be turned away. Continued attempts will be considered as harrassment and action will be taken.

Have a read of this as well.
