yellow "eggs" under ferns

    are these the cocoons that contain the seeds of the ferns which I understand they are a kind of powder?

    By the looks of them, I'd say they were the eggs of a beastie! The seeds (or spores) of ferns are arranged around the edges of the fronds (I think) ! !

    Definitely not the Sporangia of that fern, as Tony says.
