I'm trying overwintering one for the first time this year.
    So cant speak from experience.

I'm told they need to be kept dry and allowed to die back.
I'm going to keep mine frost free.

I over winter mine in the greenhouse which has a min temp of 10 Celsius at night & plenty of light in the day.. Mine dies back to a few of leaves during the winter.. Just watch fo spider mite as they are susceptible to it...

I do still water it a little Nat... I just damp the compost & make sure the roots don't get cold..!! It doesn't really do allot just keeps some of it's leaves from the small amount of water it is given . Then come Spring I re-pot & feed it well, ready for another season..! As the new growth starts in Spring, the rest of the old leaves will die back, then you have a vibrant plant full of new growth.... Good Luck.. Just watch the temp & for draughts... If you have a conservatory you could bring it in & treat it like a houseplant for the winter.. I have heard of people doing that...... Good Luck mate whatever you choose.. :)
