these are our chooks. Elvira, Jessica, Gemma, Esme and Rhoda. This is Meg (taken when we got her from the RSPCA in feb, after being spayed). She;s about 6 and this is ma big Willy! :lollol: Willo (the wisp). He's 10 now and was born in the graveyard next door we also have 3 hamsters (well, kids do) and loads of pond fish too.
Hello chooks ... and special hellos to Meg and Willo. We are cat people and have a 14 year old English black boy (Magic Sam aka Boo) and a 3 year old Portuguese black and white boy (Calvos) and in June took on another now 5 1/2 month old Portuguese girl (Chere Khan aka Munchkin) to be spayed in a couple of weeks. Thanks for sharing your family ... mine are up in various places in Pets .... k-l
thanks for replying i'd love another cat, but we have lost 5 in the past year! one disappeared (one that was born here!) and his mum and aunt got Feline Leukemia and had to be put down just before last xmas. then we got a black and white boy kitten who got FIV and had to be put down, then we got Meg. Then we got another ginger and white male, who got hit by a car!! I'm just so thankful that the cats we have are healthy
Oh, Ros, so sorry to hear of your sad year with the cats ... how traumatic for you. :( Hopefully this year will be purr-fect ....k-l
Lovely animals, you certainly have an assortment. what a shame about your other cats - fingers crossed the ones left stay safe! cheers
unfortunately Jessica the light sussex hen (white) isnt with us any more. think she had some kind of prolapse inside, so we had to put her down :( BUT I am happy to introduce Freyja into our family. we got her saturday, she's 8 weeks old. :luv: and she's 1/2 BSH, 1/4 Exotic and 1/2 Oriental!
this is Batman. I was given the wrong address for his owner. tw@tnav and bad directions had me lost for over an hour up Norwich finally pulled into a chippy (to feed kids) and they went next door and the girl showed me the place on google maps. :thmb: was told by the owners friend that there were 2 boys, one black, one grey. they werent. one was b&w and one was tabby & white. wtf is wrong with these people??? wrong directions, wrong descriptions, its a wonder we made it at all!!! anyway, we did & we named him Batman on the way home cos of his mask :luv: the kids are downstairs with Batman and Freyja now, making sure the introduction goes well. from what I saw, Freyja wanted to play and Batman wanted to eat and explore :D
Freyja's 12 weeks now and Batman is 9wks. taking them to vets tomorrow for blood tests and vaccinations. fingers crossed no FIV/put to sleeps!! k-l
What gorgeeous pics, sorry to hear you had to get one put down, its heart breaking, i love the new ones, how did they get on at the vets?
Lovely, lovely, beautiful babes, RR ... thank you for letting them into our homes ... I want them, I want them ... k-l
