can someone help

    I am getting an amelanchier canadensis can i put it in a pot for a few seasons at least

    Hi How big is the tree you are buying , I know they like Acid to Neutral soil so I dont think Johnines soil based compost would be any good as it needs to be lime free so you would need a ericacous compost , plus a slow release feed in the spring , I dont see why you cant grow in a pot , maybe someone on here can add more .....

    thanks for that have not decided on size yet so a younger tree should be suitable for a pot just wondered if anyone had one in a pot.
