      :smile: I am quite partial to watching a bit of trash on TV now and again....Yes I thought Gary Barlow was way out of order saying what he did to Tulisia and the way he said it.....Certainly won't help his Nighthood......imho.

        A local lad Robbie Williams joined Take That when he was a kid. Rob lived in Stoke and when the band came home from gigs they wouldn't drop him off at home, they dropped him off at the motorway junction and he had to make his own way home.

        Robbie never forgot the way Barlow treated him. In fact Robbie thoroughly hated him.
        Robbie went on to become a global superstar, he didn't need Barlow and Take That anymore and refused for years to give their failing careers a boost by rejoining the band. They did of course reform the band minus it's best singer and have more success without him.
        Having met Robbie several times he's still a down-to-earth guy without any heirs and graces and ten times the man Barlow is.

            The laptop PC is one of the best things ever invented in my opinion - I can remain sociable whilst Mrs C watches whatever she chooses, whilst also having my own distractions (usually courtesy of GC).

            I live in hope that something 'gives' and we see a dramatic improvement in the quality of programming on our boxes, but I fear that I will be hoping for a long time.
