I've had to bite my tongue so much on facebook as so many of my American plant friends are supporting Romney... He's such a burk though it's unbelievable

Well, Obama seems to have made it all the way to the end of a term without starting any new wars, so that's a plus.

 

I'm hoping Barack gets another term.

To be honest I dont like either of them, I've not seen Obama do much since he has been in,.......(reminds me of Cameron),...... as for Romney?
Well, I only know slightly more about him than I do about our police commissioner candidates.
And I know absolutely nothing about any of them.

 

Romney does not inspire confidence . I think Barack has done pretty well from a bad postition , 2 wars and a recession left for him by Dubya .

 

I heard a bit on Radio 2 at lunch time about all this.

It seems Obama isn't quite as clever as he sometimes seems. With regard to 'the special relationship', it turns out one of the first things he did when he took office was to get rid of a gift that Winston Churchill had given to the then US gaffer.

Seperately, Obama referred to the Falklands and the Maldives. He meant to say Las Malvinas, but said the Maldives instead so he's clearly a tad thick.

Still, as I said, he's managed to avoid starting any new wars so far, although there has been moments when he's come close to picking fight with Pakistan, which would be a bit daft considering they can't afford to fight the wars he inherited, let alone start any new ones.

 

You mean Obama doesn't.

He must be doing something wrong, bearing in mind he is a politician first and a President second.

My choices are:
1.White slimy insincere weasel
2.Brown slimy insincere weasel

Oops, am I not supposed to say that? Just had a flyer through for candidate 1, crumbs, the guy's eyes are too close together and his teeth are sparkling through a false smile. He looks like he spends his life doing deals down at the golf club. Just how wrong can they get with the candidate selection?

So I'll be voting for option 2.
