How do you clean tea stains from mugs

    Does anyone have a good remedy for cleaning tea stains from mugs please

    It comes off really easy with a scouring pad and warm soapy water.

      Denture cleaner tablets (I have all my own teeth by the way) or bicarbonate of soda.

        Soda crystal solution, or diluted thin bleach.

            I put a bit of bleach and top up with hot water then leave them to stand for half hr...also i add my teaspooons to the cup when they look like they need :)

                Yes it's a refillable mug, but it's never empty, now it got to have a clean

                  bleach is what most people use, I guess

                    Thank you good people, keep'em coming i'm having great fun with it at the moment :) it's so stubborn i may have to get the jack hammer out, but it's my fav mug

                        You wouldn't have a problem if you used a proper bone china tea cup that's made in Stoke. We make non-stain cups ya know! :biggrin:
