I'm not sure if we have had this up before but it brings me out in a sweat watching the first half!

No, I meant we've had a thread with that on before, still had to watch it all the way thru though:hate-shocked:

Best i've done was to be on the top of Wells Cathedral, that was high enough for me.

OMG, even when he clips in the carabiner it could easily slip off sideways. And it's only fastened to a flimsy bit of metal anyway. I sure hope they pay them well.

Thanks Strongy - very difficult to watch.

What happens 40 years in the future when parts start to get rusted through?

Being a Horticultural forum, I thought 'bulb' appropriate.

Peter, they will have built a replacement tower (another 500ft higher!!!)
made of something indestructable that we haven't invented yet.

Aye, that takes balls - bad enough with one of them being up there, but when the second one gets up you can see the top of the pole quivering.

I wonder at what point did that become a 'good idea' for a career?

I've found myself feeling more and more mortal the older I get! I used to be like a gazelle up ladders but cleaning out the gutters is about my limit these days lol
