:) Hi Nat, that's a lovely cloud tree for £20 especially for the size. May I ask what it is, specieswise?

They have been popular here for years with olive trees and at first I did not like them but they have 'grown' on me. :hehe:

I've put these up before, but here are the ones the Council maintain in our 'county' town. These pictures are a couple of years old now but they maintain them (the crane is long since gone ....).

That's lovely Nat - loads of potential.

I have never seen your pictures before Vicky - they are spectacular.

Hi Nat, I've been to Stone Green Nurseries, so you must live somewhere near me. I bought some phormiums there earlier this year and they were loads cheaper than anywhere else. They look fab in my front garden which is done in a sort of "coastal" theme.
Fab pics, Victoria. I remember seeing cloud trees at the royal palace in Bangkok and being really impressed. Beats bonzai any day, in my opinion!

No, Nat, I'll check Madrona Nursery out next time I'm over that way. I like Stone Green for big things like trees, climbers & shrubs etc. They usually have a stand at the Kent Garden Show too. At the moment, I'm thinking about seeds for next Spring which I often get from mail order catalogues (saves driving miles!) or from seed swops with other gardeners.
    Cheers
    Tiarella
