    I make newspaper bricks out of all my newspaper & cardboard, helps make the wood last a bit longer

          :biggrin: Its not that bad, there are logs for sale but tbh, they don't give out much heat, more sort of smouldering.

          Need an assortment to get a good burn going.

          Going shopping this morning we saw an elderly couple who'd parked on the grass verge and were dragging dead elms out of the hedge to cut up and put in their trailer. Sign of the times I suppose.
