          Last week when we had snow d18yo and his friends were in class laughing because their phone apps reported the weather as: Sunny!

          And I'm sure it was .... somewhere!

          All I know is that I live on the east coast, and yesterday I was at Saltburn and the wind was rapidly picking up. I'm not joking, within half an hour it went from a gentle breeze to force 'walk at a 45 degree angle to avoid blowing over'.

                Even the weather gets sensationalized these days, as if we dont want to hear the truth, but some kind distorted reporters idea of how bad it could possibly be.
