Been watching the reports, what on earth makes someone do that?

 

The world is full of nutters. If guns are freely available then really bad things will inevitably happen.

And they are still proud of their constitution, including the bit that says they have the right to bear arms. To say I'm sorry for the families of those kids just doesn't cut it, I can't imagine anything worse. And to add insult to injury, you can be sure that people will still defend the ridiculous gun laws.

 

Can't answer that Zig, but we've had a shooting in a PUB car park just down the road at 5pm tonight.
It's a good job the police have all the gun holders licenced and know who owns a gun - or there could be anarchy. - that is right, isn't it????

 

i have friends in the states and the panic in their posts was almost Palpable, just breaks my heart

 

tomorrow i am sure the lobbiest wil have lots to say one way and the other ... today should be just for those poor innocents !

 

Ive just been watching on bbc news... trying to hold back a million tears but failed

 

We are friends with a young lass who works for the New York Times. Poor thing, she'll probably be called in to cover this over the week end. My thoughts and prayers are for all those who will suffer as a result of this dreafully wicked act today,

Just seen this on the news, absolutely heart breaking!

 

Just unbelivable , what`s wrong with this peoples , will they ever ban guns in USA , it`s about time .......can`t even think about the pain all them parents are feeling now.

How many atrocities does it take? The final straw should be the killing of small children illustrates that the constitutional right to to bear arms is both lethal and nonsensical. Will this apalling unhinged act in any way dislodge the powerful gun nut lobby in Washington? I suspect not.
