:) Hello Chanell and welcome to GC from an ex-Southerner. Although I am Welsh, I lived in Montreal and Toronto, Canada, then Long Island, New York, and then Connecticut, and I lived in Huntsville, Alabama for 14 years but only visited New Orleans once. I also lived in Summerville, South Carolina for six months. I am married to a 'Northerner' from Ohio for my sins! We lived in the UK (Buckinghamshire and the Isle of Wight) for 23 years but have now retired to the sun on the Iberian Peninsula.

A lot of things we grow here are grown in the South so there are a lot of fond memories for me.

Enjoy your stay on the forum and I hope you and your family have a very happy holiday season.

We're thinking along the same lines! I need to erect some type of structure to hang from though. I may just try and rig something for the time being, but that project is for down the road when things warm up again.

Victorianks! You certainly did get around, didn't you? Alabama must have been serious culture shock, lol!

redstar, North and quite east, lol!

shiney, Thanks, lol. Hope you had a good holiday.

ARMANDII and clueless1, I'm not getting in the middle of that one!

          Penny in Ontario, Thanks!

Kristen2 If had started saving water in June I'd probably still have barrels and barrels worth! I think the report for August was over 20 inches!

          JWK, thanks!
