I broke my drivers side sun visor clip, then the OH thought he would unscrew the other one to repair mine, and broke the passenger side one as well !!:gaah:

Checked on some websites, and they want (including postage) £21. !!

Am I right in thinking that that is a bit extortianate ?

Any ideas for something cheaper?

This might sound daft, but for things like that it can sometimes pay to visit the main franchised dealer. Whilst they are often more expensive for some things, quite often they are considerably cheaper for trim items.

As clueless says, what make/model/age is the car?

A lot of scrappies nowadays wont let you loose in the yard any more, Elf and Safety presumably. There are still one or two that do though, and of those that don't, some of them will turn a blind eye if they've got to know your face.

        If its M reg, its a '94.

Could be worth asking at a Vauxhall dealer, just to see how much they would charge - failing that you could try breakerlink which circulates the details of the parts you need around their panel of breakers, and whichever ones have the part will contact you with an offer

One of the most common cars there is, and therefore parts are widely available. Try the usual suspects first like eBay, or Vauxhall have a good forum: http://www.vauxhallownersnetwork.co.uk/index.php

I used to be on it. Someone there will sort you out.
