I'm sure we're all familiar with this situation. You're sort of doing something, but that something involves periods of waiting for something where you don't really have time to do anything big, so you do nowt.

So what jobs can be started and finished in 20 minutes?

That's the time when I would be on here. Like now when I am filling those irritating minutes between the washer finishing spinning and it allowing me to open the door :)

In the house or the garden, or shed or greenhouse.

The lad usually helps me with any 'projects' I have on.

Right dont laugh I am a bit of a hippy mum. So things u can do at this time of year with a little one
        Pot washing
Greenhouse cleaning (little one use small brush) whilst u do something constructive lol
My favourite - insect "huntinng " my lo is facinated by woodlice.
        Feed the birds
Sort seeds whilst singing lo rattles a bean packet in time to music.
Stroll around the garden we talk about each plant what its called and what it needs to grow.
Build a wigwam but I think u already have play structures.
        Plant up a herb pot
Make labels for new year by sticking pics on top of pegs u can then write names of seedlings to come on side of peg with biro
        Make a garden mobile
Make some bird food balls with butter and seeds

Then to earn brownie points with mrs clueless
Take lo to bathroom they can wipe bath whilst u run over taps and toilet with a bit of spray and a wipe.
Play a game where u give lo clothes to put away in cupboard cue lots of running around whilst u put some clothes away.
Bed changing is fun if results are not always perfect
Hoovering if lo is not frightend of noise
        Read to lo
