Woohoo, congrats!! If you forgot to announce your engagement, don't ever, ever, never forget you wedding anniversary will ye??!!
I can't remember the day Mrs Scrungee & I got engaged, but I can remember the first available date the Registry Office had available - 1st April (no bookings) and Miss Scrungee wouldn't even let me ask for a discount for that day (would've made the anniversary easier to remember).
Congratulations Andy. Sometimes these things just slip your mind. We suddenly decided to get married the day we did ... on my birthday so t'other half didn't have too many dates to remember. Well, it's almost 45 years now so I guess it won't work out having made such a sudden and impulsive decision ... All the best to you and Erica and hope your intended business venture comes to fruitition. xx
More thanks from me to you All I fully expect to forget the anniversary at some point so will have to hatch a cunning 'emergency plan' for that day lol Isn't wedding planning fun? No. It's not, it's not fun at all! Plans are going fine I think, only to be told of the vast swathes of stress washing over Erica and her family... It's booked, there's only 20 or so guests and the wedding invitations are being drafted as we speak, it's almost complete really... Men are so stupid lol
A belated Congratulations from myself and Mr Kandy and hope that the big day is all you both have dreamed of and more..... We have two weddings to attend this year, one from either side and we are looking forward to both of them, just hoping the weather doesn't let us all down on the day
Remember, it is about you and your good lady Erica. You may find that everyone has an opinion on your plans, and some will want you to change them. There may even be some tears when agreements and compromises fail to be reached. Tough. You and your future missus do what's right for you. If anyone thinks you should do it differently, tell them fine, when its their turn.
Congratulations. What a beautiful place to get married aswell. Sorento really is a stunning place. Rusty
