                Nah, I was just joking. I'll carry on making macabre stuff when it warms up as well. :snork:

                Actually the idea came from the comic book pictures of Calvin and Hobbs, which I think may have been posted up here when we had the last lot of snow.

                  Out and about at work today. A cold, snowy landscape with a steel grey sky and not a breath of wind.
                  Everything was eerily quiet across the woods and fields, save for the sound of a few rooks in the distance.
                  (I've deliberately avoided using auto correct on these photos, better to convey the greyness and flat quality of the light).

                    Although we have no snow on lower ground, it's not that far off and all roads on higher ground are still out of action. These were taken from my garden today.
