Celebrities ?.

Is it me being out of touch,not watching Fly on the wall TV programmes,game shows or soaps?..

I read the papers every day,and I read about celebrities getting married to another celebrity,or some celebrity getting into trouble or whatever,and I ask myself,"Who The Hell Is She Or He"?,"What The Hell Have They Done"?,I've Never Heard Of Them !!.

We seem to be living in a society of overnight Celebrities.

I wonder if my neighbour or milk man are Celebrities, I'll ask them the next time I see them .
But If they are celebrities,will they talk to me .
I'm now getting a wee bit Paranoid.

I remember being asked by a woman doing a survey who I thought had the best smile out of a list of names, i'd never heard of any of them. She got quite cross when I denied all knowlege of Jennifer Aniston & wouldn't believe that, at the time, i'd never watched Friends.

Scrolling round the channels the other night I 'happened' across celebrity big brother, I don't recognise any of them!!!! I do know Jennifer Anniston though!!

I'm a celebrity. I've been on telly twice, and in the paper once, and my mug shot appears in a corporate video on Youtube.

 

There's a whole world out there about which I clearly know absolutely nothing - and to be honest, care even less.

I sit in the hairdressers, am given OK, Hello, et.al., and find 20 pages (or whatever) are given over to someone and someone's 'sumptuous wedding', attended by 100's of other people I've also never heard of, followed by an equally long photo session of two plastic people with their new baby Anemone Fizzypop Wattleshakes or whatever ridiculous name they've come up with. It's a baby - people have them all the time, just because you're a so-called (z-list) 'celebrity' doesn't mean you've done something extraordinary and the next time I hear about Mr. & Mrs whoever, will probably be the next time I go to the hairdressers and find their divorce gets another 20 pages. Not that it will mean anything to me, because I shall have forgotten all about them by the time my hair is dry

You aren't the only one Music, I am not a celebrity worshiper, I don't know who is who. I have NEVER seen a soap or watched so called 'reality shows' or any 'srtictly pop factor' challenge eviction humiliation and tears programmes, come to that I hardly watch any TV at all.
